Letter from the Editorial Board
Dear readers,
We are pleased to present the first edition of The Wesleyan Science Journal (WesSciJo). We started this journal to create a platform for students to highlight the scientific news and innovation at the heart of the Wesleyan community. In this pursuit, we have worked to create a space where Wesleyan students can become thoughtful scientific writers and thinkers.
Moreover, we aspire to be a Journal made by the Wesleyan scientific community – not limited to it. We live in a time when scientific literacy matters more than ever. As such, we strive to balance the rigours of scientific academia with accessible, scientific discourse.
This publication wouldn’t exist today without the tireless efforts of our editorial staff, web designers, and graphic designers. We would also like to thank our faculty advisor, Professor Davis, for his support and guidance throughout this process.
We hope you enjoy this inaugural edition and continue reading in the future.
